CARTER COUNTY CARES “CCC” is a non-profit agency that identifies, coordinates and provides resources for individuals and families in emergency / crisis situations. Providing direct services and referrals as needed, CCC will assist in preventing duplication of services by partnering with other local social service organizations as well as area churches by acting as an informational clearing house.  The outcome of this partnership will bring about a stronger community in the way of education and job training as well as offer resources to empower individuals to be self-reliant.

Direct services may include emergency food pantry, books and school supply distribution, home repairs, budget management, empowerment classes, Dress for Success and the Kids Backpack Club (a program that provides supplemental snack/food items for children whose home may not have sufficient food during the week-end).
